From the 2nd Service Gospel:

Now after the Magi had left, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, ‘Get up, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.’ Then Joseph got up, took the child and his mother by night, and went to Egypt, and remained there until the death of Herod.
(Matthew’s Gospel, chapter 2, verses 13-15, NRSV)

Lots to think about in this story – the experiences Jesus had as a young child with his family. Not just living in an occupied country, but having to run away to another one – refugees, fugitives, foreigners. What language did they speak? How did they feed themselves? How were they treated by the locals?

How would we have treated them? How do we treat them?
