Extended Eucharistic preface (based on Hebrews 10:11-25)

We praise and thank you, loving God,
through Jesus Christ your son,
who offered himself once for all time,
as a single sacrifice for sins.
Risen from the dead
he sat down at your right hand.
Through him, our new and living way,
we have confidence to enter your sanctuary.
Through your Holy Spirit,
you write your laws on our hearts and minds
and assure us of your forgiveness.
Perfected and sanctified
we approach you with true hearts
and consciences sprinkled clean
to join with angels and archangels
in their unending song of praise, saying…
