Today the church remembers Felicity (a slave) and Perpetua (her owner) who were both martyred as Christians and Carthage on this day in the year 203.

Here is Perpetua, shown with a ladder in reference to a vision she is recorded as seeing.  There is no Felicity – only 3 of the 20 windows in this sequence contain women, so I guess someone had to be left out…
